{"id":987,"date":"2018-08-06T05:38:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-06T05:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cox-legal.de\/blogbeitraege\/bsg-compulsory-social-insurance-for-music-school-teachers\/"},"modified":"2024-06-05T03:54:49","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T03:54:49","slug":"bsg-compulsory-social-insurance-for-music-school-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cox-legal.de\/en\/blogbeitraege\/bsg-compulsory-social-insurance-for-music-school-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"BSG: COMPULSORY SOCIAL INSURANCE FOR MUSIC SCHOOL TEACHERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Federal Social Court (BSG) had to decide whether a music teacher at a municipal music school is subject to social security contributions if he has to adhere to the curriculum of the Association of German Music Schools in his teaching.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In its ruling of 14.03.2018 (BSG, B 12 R 3\/17 R), the court ruled that the obligation imposed on the music teacher by the school authority to use a specific curriculum as the basis for his lessons does not lead to the assumption of a relationship subject to social insurance contributions.
