In addition to the statutory minimum wage, there are also various sectoral minimum wages that have been negotiated between trade unions and employers in so-called sectoral collective agreements and declared generally binding. Industry minimum wages therefore apply to all companies in the industry, regardless of whether they are bound by collective agreements or not.
