Arbitration in accordance with the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG)

We prefer to clarify any questions arising from the client relationship immediately. If this does not work, mediation by the Berlin Bar Association is also possible.

The VSBG transposed the provisions of the corresponding EU Directive on out-of-court dispute resolution, including the establishment of corresponding arbitration bodies for disputes between businesses and consumers, into German law. Participation in the dispute resolution procedures provided for by law is voluntary. Since other procedures are already available to us (see above), we hereby point out (§ 36 VSBG) that we are neither legally obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute settlement procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

The EU platform for out-of-court online dispute resolution can be found here.
