The three-hour workshop What matters in contracts with dancers! provides answers to the most important questions regarding contracts with artists. The following topics are dealt with in particular:
- Self-employment/independence – employment or freelance work in the independent scene
- Taxes for contracts with dancers from abroad (reverse charge procedure + foreigner tax)
- Termination options, default fees, etc.
- Rights under the Copyright Act
With examples from practice, for practice, the workshop aims to convey a uniform level of knowledge as a basis for action in daily cultural practice.
