Erik Stamer was born in Berlin in 1980. In 1999, he passed his Abitur at the Gabriele-von-Bülow-Oberschule and obtained the Latinum. He studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin and then completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg. He was admitted to the bar in 2009 and has been a partner in various law firms since the beginning of his career. From 2014, he was the founder of a law firm specializing in legal tech and represented clients in several thousand court proceedings, including before the European Court of Justice (ECJ) in Luxembourg.
Erik Stamer has been a specialist lawyer for IT law since 2012 and a specialist lawyer for intellectual property law since 2014. He graduated from the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg with a part-time Master’s degree in “Information Technology Law”.
He is a member of the Berlin Bar Association and the Information Technology Working Group of the German Bar Association (DAV IT).
